Have to agree with you Rossum, it doesn't look like the safest of things to be putting all your wait on. I do think Dulin is onto something with the inline skates integration idea. There seems to be something of a craze for personal transportation gadgets at the mo so this could definitely be one to watch!

That Emily is a great idea. I think it would be better if it has a camera too. It looks just like a toy that can save lives.

Although I am not a fan of Jurassic Park, the video piqued my interest. I would say that the bestseller turned film turned display has become very successful. It is always great when a bright idea sells.

Hmm . . . don't ASIMO and Toyota's critter run without being tethered? I'm wondering if some day we'll send these dudes to explore Mars or something . . . . once we can get them going a bit faster and smoother. Apart from sheer technical achievement, what do people expect from these bots?

I agree. Although it's always fascinating to see what robots and machines could do with our current technology, I still get creeped out with these things. Modern technology is great and all but sometimes it can be a little scary.

Yea, but where's the fun in that? I think people that have fish at home feel more fulfilled taking care of them... feeding them, cleaning out the tank, etc. I know I do.

I think the primary purpose of these "fish" will be scientific, as was suggested in this article. They could certainly serve as a valuable tool to study the oceans and learn more about marine life, without being too obtrusive.
