IBM 7094 sings Daisy Bell
Artificial Intelligence has come a long way in the last 50 years. But there is still something creepy and yet intoxicating about the IBM 7094 singing Harry Dacre’s 1892 classic Daisy Bell.
In 1961, the IBM 7094 became the first computer to sing, singing the song Daisy Bell. Vocals were programmed by John Kelly and Carol Lockbaum and the accompaniment was programmed by Max Mathews.
